Ischemic Heart Disease refers to a condition where there is reduced blood flow to the heart muscle due to narrowing or blockage of the arteries that supply blood to the heart. This can result in chest pain, shortness of breath and other symptoms. It is also known as coronary artery disease (CAD) and is a common cause of heart attacks.
